In accordance with the order of the Main Department of vocational and technical education under the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR of 27 марта1962, No. 77 on the basis of professional school № 2 was formed Volgograd industrial-pedagogical College.
By order of the Ministry of education of the Russian Federation of 11 June 1992. No. 251 Volgograd industrial-pedagogical College was reorganized into the Volgograd industrial-pedagogical College, which by order of the Ministry of General and professional education of the Russian Federation of 6 мая1999, No. 1240 was renamed to Volgograd state College of professional technologies, Economics and law.
December 25, 2002, Volgograd state College of professional technologies, Economics and law are brought in the Unified state register of legal entities as a State educational institution of secondary professional education "Volgograd state College of professional technologies, Economics and law".

On 17 January 2007, No. 87 State educational institution of secondary professional education "Volgograd state College of professional technologies, Economics and law" was renamed into Federal state educational institution of secondary professional education "Volgograd state College of professional technologies, Economics and law".
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of education and science on 15 July 2011 № 2140 College established Volgograd branch of Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education for disabled people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system "Moscow state humanitarian-economic Institute".
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation of 6 June 2014 №638, the order of MGHEE June 26, 2014 Volgograd branch of Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education for disabled people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system "Moscow state humanitarian-economic Institute" was renamed Volgograd branch of Federal state budgetary educational institution of inclusive higher education "Moscow state humanitarian-economic University"
