Closed joint stock company "Russian Test Center" (JSC "RIC") was established in December 2009 on the basis of the Test Center of low-voltage apparatus and household electrical appliances Kursk, JSC "Electroapparat", working since 1945

The test center was accredited by Gosstandart of the Russian Federation on technical competence. In may 2010 JSC "RIC" has received the certificate of accreditation of independent test center.

In September 2015 the Russian Test Center passed re-accreditation and proved its competence.
